GRILLS, CHASSIS AND BRACKETS
Cabinets made of very rigid and strong polymer to minimize distortion, vibrations or resonances. Most models utilize sealed enclosures to ensure perfect waterproof abilities, but selected models have front bassreflex cabinets to improve bass performance. Solid brass and rustproof hardware, aluminum grill (selected models) make TOS series completely weather and rustproof. Mounting brackets are very easy to install and allow to position speakers in vertical and horizontal positions. All grills and cabinets of TAGA Harmony speakers are paintable.
TWEETERS
Depending on the model we use 1” (25mm) or 0.75” (19mm) ferrofluid cooled and damped, silk, PEI or high-end titanium dome tweeters. SM models utilize dual 1” PEI dome for wider sound dispersion. The performance of our tweeters can be characterized as very accurate, clear, smooth and detailed as well as can handle high power inputs. We pay special attention to equal and flat dispersion of sound in and off the axis of the driver.
WOOFER
Woofer utilizing polypropylene cone (or reinforced paper in selected models) and heavy duty voice coil (dual in SM models) and coil former is responsible for high power handling as well as deep, precise and detailed bass and rich, sweet midranges.
CROSSOVER
High quality, close-tolerance and precisely selected crossovers’ components and internal wires for absolute sound neutrality, high long-term power and reliability.
SPEAKERS’ BINDING POSTS
All speakers use high quality, gold-platted banana binding posts accepting raw speaker cables up to 10AWG and most popular types of cables’ binding posts.
